My period is usually regular, but my last period was brown/black in color!

It’s actually quite normal for period blood to appear brown or black-ish sometimes. It just means that the blood has “oxidized” and turned a darker color. It is nothing to worry about, unless it’s accompanied by other symptoms like vaginal pain or itching.
