About Doctor T
My name is Tessa Commers and I’m a board-certified pediatrician (MD, FAAP) based in the Pacific Northwest. The best part of my job has always been answering the tough questions for adolescent patients, the ones about sex and our bodies that most of us otherwise avoid out of embarrassment or fear of repercussions.
During the Covid pandemic, the use of social media to share medical information exploded. I took the chance to explore how social media could be used to address those uncomfortable adolescent health questions. Social media is a great vehicle to connect with others anonymously and reach individuals who want to receive accurate answers. I’m honored to get to provide information that meets patients in a safe and comfortable space.
