Latex dental dams

Oral sex still carries a risk of STI transmission. So if you’re planning on intimacy with a vagina or an anus, remember your barrier protection. There are other types with flavors and scents if you want to get fancy.

Non-latex dental dams

Latex allergy? No problem.

Lubricants

Water-based

A great starter lube! Multipurpose (for sex or tampons) and safe to use with condoms.

Silicone-based

Need something that will last a little longer than water-based? Sensitive skin? Silicone-based lubes are a great option and are also safe to use with condoms.

Oil-based

While oil-based lubes are long-lasting, they are not safe to use with condoms. They can also leave residue on sheets and clothes, so wash up after use!

Morning-after pill and pregnancy

Morning-after pill

Unprotected sex can happen. Whether you were caught up in the moment, the condom broke or you never thought this would happen (please see here for sexual assault support), order Julie for same-day delivery. Works best when taken within 72 hours.

Pregnancy test

These tests are very accurate, though best to take about a week after the first day of a missed period (or after the typical duration of the period has completely passed).
