What’s a menstrual cup?

A menstrual cup is something that a female can use instead of a tampon or a pad for periods. It’s inserted kinda like a tampon and catches blood in the cup. It can be emptied as often as needed or kept in up to 12 hours. There are different sizes but most teens would use a small one (unless your flow is very heavy). The price ranges anywhere from $5 to $45 (quick amazon look) but they can last many years (unless you have a disposable kind). In summary, it’s pretty darn environmentally friendly and cost effective!
