Is it normal for your vagina to have big flaps?

I suspect you’re asking about the labia (which are the skin flaps at the front part of the vulva, or the area that surrounds the vaginal opening). And yes!!! It can be absolutely normal. Labia come in all shapes and sizes, and sometimes one or both of the inner flaps (called the labia minora) will be especially long. They are just fine and healthy. However, if you end up having skin issues because of the extra tissue or if they catch on clothing and make you uncomfortable, talk with your doctor about your options.
