What’s a dental dam?

Dental dams are basically a sheet of latex or polyurethane that is used when performing oral sex on a female. The sheet is placed over the vagina or anus before oral sex and it helps prevent spread of STIs. As you may know, it is possible to get an STI if your mouth.
